Dear Hal Macomber,
As the writer of a project management blog, you may be interested in Columbia University’s Center for Project Leadership (CPL). The CPL partners with industry leaders and leading researchers to develop theories and practices of project leadership.
On August 25, 2009, we will be hosting the First Forum on Construction Project Leadership, held here at Columbia University in New York City.
The purpose of the forum is to examine some of the current and anticipated challenges facing construction projects and to discuss the critical role that project leadership will play in addressing the increasingly difficult project environment in the coming years. The forum will bring together a panel of top experts from industry and academia, who will examine the importance of both project leadership and project management as critical skills for project success. Attendance should be a must for all professionals working in organizations involved in the delivery of construction projects, including owners; developers; architects; design engineers; contractors; suppliers; local, state and federal government, as well as consultants, researchers, and educators.
In addition, the CPL will hold a Forum in Project Leadership at the NASA headquarters in Washington, DC this upcoming Friday, June 26.
More about the Center for Project Leadership as well as information on the Forums and their registration can be found at projectleadershipcenter.org.
Please consider announcing the Project Leadership Forum on your blog, as your readers are most certainly those professionals for which thess Forums are targeted.
Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Claire Wang
Manager for the Project Leadership Forum
