		<description>I like the idea of telling memorable stories. In my line of business (professional project management training) it&#039;s important to get the balance right: endless war stories.. or high value examples of how to succeed in a difficult situation.

I guess the question we should all ask ourselves before telling a story (in a professionall environment) is to think it thru first: why am i telling this story? Who is my audience? Have I tried this type of story before? did I test it in a trusted audience environment first.

Lastly, the worst stories are ones you come up with on the spot - only the gifted can ad-lib. If your credibility or a sale hangs on it - don&#039;t even think about telling the story untested.
